Today it gives me great pleasure to announce that Sensei Gary Spiers (RIP) has been posthumously awarded The Kizuna Medal.

In honour of GM Colwell the medal was passed at his graveside to Alan Hesketh who will oversee the delivery of the Medal to Gary’s family in New Zealand.

He now joins a very special list of men who are in possession of the medal.

Our thoughts are with the great men.

November will see the return of all things Kizuna - the long wait is over!!!!
