Knights Photo shoot, Presentation and Dojo meal July 16th

Brothers of Kizuna met at SMKS Dojo for an official presentation and meal on the 16th July 2016.

​

At one stage our president, Bother Alfie Lewis, asked how we could describe the atmosphere in the room with a single word. Alfie began with Love – added was historic, brotherhood, friendship, honour, peaceful, memorable and many more.

 

For me personally, this dojo holds a special place in my heart, it holds my soul. So for the first real gathering of Kizuna here was always going to be special.  So in true Alfie style I will add another single word – smiles. Yes, smiles, smiles of warmth, smiles of joy, smiles of friends.  Many in the room had not met before, no matter we are of a kind, to mix is natural, it is the Kizuna way.

And so GM Colwell your spirit was with us, your legacy is strong, after feeling the emotion in the Dojo last night the Kizuna ethos is as you so wished as the golden thread was sewn through us all.
